Experiencing difficulty logging in?

The number one reason for inability to login concerns the settings on your browser eg. Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator. What follows below are the most common reasons for failure to login and the adjustments you may have to make to your settings in order to ensure that you login smoothly.

Common Problems

1. Make sure you are using a supported browser.
We try to make our services available to as wide a range of users as possible. However Iinfieldonline is best viewed on Microsoft Internet Explorer from versions 4.0 onward on Windows.
We recommend using the latest version of any browser for viewing the site.

2. Case Sensitivity
Our login system is case sensitive, so you need to ensure that you are inputting the ID exactly as it is in your email. When logging in, your ID should begin with "NE" or "NF" not "ne" or "nf".

3. Cookies
To be able to access Infieldonline your browser will need to accept cookies. Starting from the menu bar on your browser please follow the directions below to locate your cookie settings:

Internet Explorer 5.xx
Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom Level -> Cookies (enable for both "stored" and "per-session" sections).

Internet Explorer 3.xx & 4.xx
View-> Internet options-> Advanced-> Security: Cookies (accept all cookies)

Netscape Navigator/Communicator 4.xx
Edit-> Preferences-> Advanced-> Cookies (accept all cookies)

4. Update settings for Cache/Temporary Internet Files.
Infrequent Cache/Temporary file updates can create difficulties when accessing infieldonline.. It is important that the Temporary/Cached files are set to check with online files as often as possible. Cache should be updated at least once every session, but preferably every time a page is loaded to ensure the latest news is available to you. If you select "never", problems may occur in future visits to NNI, including when you log in.

Please select "Every Session" or "Every Visit" from the following locations:

Internet Explorer 5.xx
Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Settings ->

Internet Explorer 3.xx & 4.xx
View -> Internet options -> Settings

Netscape Navigator/Communicator 4.xx
Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Cache

5. Turn off Internet accelerators
Some users have found that using internet 'accelerators' such as Net Accelerator, Speed Surfer, and WebEarly, interferes with access . We recommend you disbable these programs when viewing Infieldonline.com.

6. Corporate Network Security Settings
Note that if you are entering via a corporate network there could be security features in place (usually in the proxy/server settings) that can interfere with access to infieldonline. If you are going through a corporate network you may also want to check with your Network Administrator about how to overcome this without compromising the corporate network.

Finally, if none of the above have helped, email Infieldonline.com and one of our customer support staff will then work on your difficulty to help you get online as soon as possible.
